Parkinson’s UK - Project Grants Available

Parkinson’s UK is offering funding for researchers from UK academic centres through two schemes.

1. Project grants (up to £400,000 over 36 months) support studies into the causes, treatment, and early clinical investigation of Parkinson’s.

2. Non-drug approaches awards (up to £200,000 over 24 months) fund innovative research to improve quality of life, including therapies, exercise, nutrition, and technology.

Virtual workshops provide guidance on applying, patient involvement, and equality, diversity, and inclusion. Deadlines for preproposals are 7 January 2026 (project grants) and 5 May 2026 (non-drug approaches). More details here.
