BECOME A MEMBER

The British Pain Society aims to improve health by raising the standard of the recognition, assessment and management of pain by promotion of education, research and training.
Associate Members have an interest in the objectives of the British Pain Society but are ineligible for Ordinary membership as they are not healthcare professionals or scientists working in a pain related field. Associate members may be individuals who provide support, help or services for people with pain.
Associate Members will receive notice of General Meetings at which they may attend and speak, however Associate members are not be entitled to vote at meetings, or vote or stand for office to the Society’s Council or Executive positions.
Associate members must NOT:-
• Bring the reputation of the Society into disrepute
• Use membership of the British Pain Society in advertising personal business activities.
If an Associate Member ceases to support the aims of the Society they shall cease immediately to be an Associate Member.
