Parkinson’s UK senior research fellowships for 2025
10th Mar 2025
Parkinson's is the fastest growing neurological condition. Our senior research fellowships awards are designed to recognise future leaders of Parkinson’s research, and provide them with funds to set up their own project teams as they develop their careers
Our fellowships are initially for three years and for up to £300,000.
Applicants should have a strong track record of original and productive research in their area, and be able to demonstrate the progress they've made in moving towards independence. Grants are tenable only at a UK university, NHS Trust, statutory social care organisation or other UK research institution.
Potential applicants can sign up to the virtual workshop on Thursday 27 March 2025 at 10.00am-11.30am to hear more about how to apply for a senior research fellowship and find out about our soon to be launched patient and public involvement (PPI) support grants for developing your project ideas with people affected by Parkinson's.
Online application system open for application: 1 April 2025
Preproposal deadline: 3 July 2024
Full application deadline: 9 October 2024 (for invited applicants only)
We actively encourage people from all sections of the community to apply for grants, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, disability, sexual orientation, or religion. Read the charity's equality, diversity and inclusion strategy.
