Honorary Secretary Elect Elections

The post of Honorary Secretary Elect will become vacant at the British Pain Society Annual General Meeting on 15th June 2022. Nominations for this post will be considered from Ordinary or Honorary Members of the British Pain Society from the following groups:

·         past or present members of the Council of the British Pain Society
·         past or present member of the Council of EFIC
·         past or present member of the Council of IASP

The term of office for Honorary Secretary Elect is one year, followed by further three years as Honorary Secretary. Please click here for a full job description. 

The successful applicants must also be members of IASP during their tenure.

Submissions
Nominations for Honorary Secretary Elect must be completed on the online registration and include a resume of no more than 200 words along with a portrait photo. Please note that the nominee, proposer and seconder must be current members and that their 2022 membership fees have been paid in order to be eligible to stand/support. Nominations for this position must be received no later than midnight on Thursday 28th April.

BPS Council members only will vote for the Honorary Secretary Elect on 4 May 2022. Result will be announced at the AGM on 15 June in London.
