Help The BPS contribute towards the development of a European Pain Research strategy

The British Pain Society is a National Chapter of the European Pain Federation EFIC.

EFIC is working on the development of a Pain Research Strategy, which will form a pillar in European pain research plans for years to come. The overarching vision is to optimise understanding and management of pain through promoting high-quality, collaborative basic, pre-clinical, translational, and clinical research.

EFIC would like to involve National Chapters members in this project. The current phase of the strategy development involves a survey to be completed by researchers involved in pain science, asking them to comment on priorities established initially by a multidisciplinary steering committee. • The survey takes approximately 45 minutes to complete in full, but you can skip questions on priorities that are not relevant to your interests or fields of expertise. 
• As a reward for participation, EFIC will pick 1 survey participant from a blind draw who will receive a complimentary year of EFIC Academy membership, providing access to all of our online learning materials for a year.
• The deadline to complete the survey is 10 December 2022.
