British Journal of Pain (BJP) is the official journal of The British Pain Society.
The British Journal of Pain is a JCR, peer-reviewed journal with an Impact Factor of 1.8 and 5-year Impact Factor of 2.2 covering the full spectrum of the multidisciplinary management of pain.
The journal, published by the British Pain Society with Sage, is focussed on both practicing healthcare professionals and researchers in the field of pain and its specialty areas. BJP currently publishes six times per annum (plus the one issue of ASM abstracts), and the two current Editors in Chief, are supported by three Associate Editors.
Positions Vacant
The two current Editors in Chief intend to step down at the end of 2023. We are currently seeking three Editors-in-Chief to continue to develop the content and reach of the journal. Currently this post does not attract a stipend, but this is being considered.
Additionally, we hope to recruit additional Associate Editors as we have current vacancies. We also keen to strengthen out Editorial Board membership. We are especially keen to hear from psychologists, physiotherapists and nurses. Please contact here for further information.
